21 is the critically-accliamed sophomore album from British singer-songwriter Adele.It was released on January 24, 2011 in Europe and on February 22, 2011 in North America by XL Recordings and Columbia Records. The album was named after the age of the singer during its production.It’s the follow up to Adele’s critically acclaimed, Grammy award winning debut album 19 (also named after her age at the time the songs were written). The album went on the win several awards, including Grammy’s Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album.
